Smite dev teases 60fps for PS4 and Xbox One
Those of you who've been playing Smite on Xbox One, or about to get into it on PlayStation 4, will have a very solid reason to keep playing.
Smite, Hi-Rez' third-person action MOBA, has been available on PC and Xbox One for a good while. It's making its way to PlayStation 4, too, with the open beta having gone live.
As it stands right now, the game's frame-rate on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is locked to 30fps. Change is on the way, however, as one of the game's designers has pretty much confirmed that work is underway to bring it to a golden 60fps.
Scott Lussier, the designer in question, posted this through his Twitter.
Here's the video he's referring to. It's very shows, but it shows Smite running at 60fps.
