Homefront: The Revolution Resistance Mode, pre-order bonuses announced
Along with news of a closed beta, Resistance Mode along with a pre-order bonus was announced today for Homefront: The Revolution.
Resistance Mode allows players and their friends to form a Resistance Cell and "wage guerrilla warfare" against the KPA military. The online mode contains narrative-driven missions across occupied Philadelphia.
Players can also unlock new skills, earn weapon blueprints, rare equipment and combat gear which can be used to customize and upgrade their Freedom Fighters.
Developer Dambuster Studios plans to release major, free, extensive post-launch content which will be revealed at a later date.
Along with the over 30 hours worth of single-player in the base game, Resistance Mode comes with with 12 re-playable missions with 20 others planned for within the first year. All Resistance Mode Missions will be free to download.
Those who pre-order Homefront: The Revolution will be handed the Revolutionary Spirit Pack.
It includes:
- The Red Skull motorbike skin for campaign
- The Golden skin for your pistol for campaign
- Instant unlocks of the Marksman Rifle, Sniper Scope and Remote Explosives for your Resistance Mode character
Homefront: The Revolution is scheduled for release May 17 in North America and May 20 in all other territories on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Linux and Mac versions are also in development.
