Rise of the Tomb Raider director takes a new gig at Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward
Rise of the Tomb Raider developer Brian Horton has left Crystal Dynamics for a job as art director at Infinity Ward.
News of his depature was announced on the official Rise of the Tomb Raider Tumblr.
Yesterday's announcement noted Horton was leaving to pursue a "new adventure" without going into further detail.
As noted by Gamespot, Horton has since updated his Twitter bio and LinkedIn profile to state he is now the art director at Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward.
After graduating from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Horton worked for Disney Interactive Studios, Dreamworks Interactive, Electronic Arts, Vivendi Universal Games and The Collective.
He joined Crystal Dynamics in 2009 as senior art director for Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition before taking on the role of game director for 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider.
