Ghost in the Shell: SAC shooter on its way to Steam

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - First Assault Online has too long a title, but in other ways it proves to be committed to your convenience.

First Assault, as it will forever more be known, is on its way to Steam, Nexon announced today.

The free-to-play shooter will also be available via Nexon's own launcher, but if you're more at home on Valve's platform you can add the title to your wishlist and receive a notification as soon as it becomes available.

We don't have any firm idea of when that might be, but if you can't wait and want to participate in testing, you can register on the First Assault website.

Based on the well-received Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series, First Assault has players working with Section 9. I don't know if you can play as Major Kusanagi or just wander along beside her gazing with hero-worship, but both sound pretty good.
