Kojima can be recruited as a Mother Base volunteer in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Hideo Kojima makes a cameo appearance in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
The father of the Metal Gear series can apparently be recruited as a worker at the Mother Base, per Gamespot.
He works Intel, is at s-rank and has an A+ in R&D. He will only join the Mother Base if he was "saved during a special side-quest" in Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes.
Several of the characters players rescued in Ground Zeroes can join the Mother Base when using saved data files from the game.
This isn't the first time he's made a cameo. The last cameo he made prior to today's release was in Peace Walker.
The Phantom Pain is out today on consoles and PC.
