Project CARS looks almost unbelievably shiny in new Renault Sport Trailer
Project CARS was built with the assistance of 80,000 players, and we owe them all a great debt.
Partially crowd-funded and -built Project Cars has been in the work since late 2011s, and it just looks amazing, doesn't it?
The racer will release in mid-May on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with Linux (SteamOS) and Wii U release to follow. That last one seems almost unbelievable, given how good it looks.
According to Namco Bandai, the full game includes a "huge variety of motorsports", "the largest track roster of any recent racing game", a freeform career mode, competitive online multiplayer, dynamic weather, a day-night cycle, race weekends, pit stops, deep tuning, asynchronous play, photos, replays, skill level tailoring, 12K support, VR support, support for more than 40 different peripherals, and more.
