How to listen to the Vice City soundtrack while playing GTA 5
Let's improve Los Santos with a blast of cool 80's power ballads.
We dig the GTA 5 soundtrack. But we also love the Vice City radio stations. Now with the power of music streaming service Spotify on PS4 we can finally combine both.
Of course this works for any music on Spotify and any game, but Crockett's Theme as you strut around Vespucci Beach is so much more atmospheric than, say, Call Me Maybe during a Bloodborne boss fight.
Here's what to do:
- Download Spotify on PS4
- Start GTA 5 or GTA Online
- Go the Settings menu and turn down Music Volume
- Pause your game using the PS button and open Spotify
- Log in and link your PS4 and Spotify account
- Choose and follow your playlist from these official Rockstar Radio Stations
- OR: just hit this playlist with 90+ songs from Vice City
- Hit play on your chosen soundtrack
- Start the game and bingo - Crockett's Theme blasting as you cruise Blaine County
So now you can all add your own playlists to GTA 5, why not drop links to your soundtrack of choice in the comments section below and share with the rest of our readers?
Here's a couple of my own playlists - this one is all about gangsta rap taking inspiration from West Coast Classics radio from GTA 5. It's NSFW.
And this is pure girl-power pop based on GTA 3's Lips 106. For sassy ladies from 70s, 80s and 90s.
