Destiny: House of Wolves coming Q2, major update before the end of February

Destiny developer Bungie has outlined upcoming content plans in its latest communique.

Destiny's second expansion House of Wolves is coming sometime in the second quarter, Bungie has re-confirmed.

The reiteration of this vague launch window is a response to rumours of a firm May release date along with a massive content leak detailing House of Wolves' new armour and weapons. Bungie has said the leaked info is out of date and not to take any of it as gospel.

The other major news from the latest Bungie Weekly Update is that patch 1.1.1 is coming before the end of the month. This major update is the stepping stone between The Dark Below's and House of Wolves, so is likely to be the biggest content drop we'll see for a while.

Bungie intends to communicate the patch's contents in more detail over the coming weeks, reading between community manage David "Deej" Dague's cryptic lines, but one thing is clear - it will include a major rebalance of weapons, with particular love given to the pulse rifle, which nobody really likes, apparently.
