Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn servers hit with DDoS attacks

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn servers have been hit with DDoS attacks, and Square Enix is working hard to combat the problem.

According to a post on the official website, the attacks are affecting servers in both North America and Europe for a few days.

When Square Enix makes headway on the matter, the culprits modify their attack, thus the issues have yet to be resolved.

"Due to this attack, our game servers, network equipment and network connection are being hit with heavy load at an extensive level, which is causing a disconnection from the game and login difficulties," reads the post.

"Our technical staff is taking every possible measure to address this issue but the attack is still continuing to take place by changing their methods at every moment. We will continue to monitor and work on recovery from every possible angle."

Luckily, it's just on the connection end so no personal information on customers is being accessed.
