EA Sports Season Ticket will be no more from March 2015
EA has announced that its EA Sports Season Ticket subscription service will be discontinued from March 2015, with all service benefits due to expire in March 2016.
The service gave PS3 and Xbox 360 players early access to full EA Sports games and a 20% discount on DLC purchases. Now that players are moving over to new-gen consoles, and now that EA Access will be offering similar services on Xbox One, EA has decided to retire the service.
"As more and more of our fans move to the new generation of consoles, we felt the time was right to start the process of concluding Season Ticket for the Xbox 360 and PS3," said EA. "The Season Ticket benefits are still available for FIFA 15, NHL 15 and Madden NFL 15, at a new lower price of $19.99."
EA Access on Xbox One offers early access to EA Sports games like FIFA 15 and Madden NFL 15, as well as 10% discounts on some digital content if you choose to buy.
