You'll be able to try Pillars of Eternity next month - if you're a backer

Obsidian's successful Kickstarter project, Pillars of Eternity, will finally go into beta next month. It's for backers only, though.
Come August 18, those who dropped a bit of cash early will be able to test the retro-styled RPG on their lovely PC or Mac.
At present, the game is set for a winter 2014 release, but this may change once testing commences.
More details such as length of the test and how to participate are promised in the next backer update. So be sure to check your inboxes.
Pillars of Eternity will be available via Early Access at some point as well.
