World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor welcomes you to the jungle
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor developer Blizzard Entertainment has revealed a brand-new zone that will appear in its next expansion. Say hello to the Tanaan Jungle zone.
It follows news that this World of Warcraft player took 173.5 days to hit level 90 without leaving their neutral zone. It's a bit like the montage from that South Park episode, in which the boys level up without leaving their start zone for many weeks.
Blizzard revealed Tanaan Jungle over on its blog, along with a descriptor that reads:
"In primordial Tanaan, even the plants have teeth. Darkling fronds stab out at unlucky wanderers, or conceal canyons that plunge miles deep beneath the canopy - and these are far from the jungle’s worst dangers. Each day, warlords fell even wider stretches of Tanaan’s wilderness, striving to finally rend the gates of space and time for conquest unending."
The Iron Horde is using Tanaan Jungle as a staging ground for its attack on Azeroth, and it's up to players to hold them off. It's a place filled with the most feared and accomplished Orc warlords ever to grace the land, such as Grommash Hellscream of Warsong clan, Kilrogg Deadeye of Bleeding Hollow clan, and Kargath Bladefist of the Shattered Hand clan.
Your main quest is to close a dark portal that has opened deep within Tanaan, but things - obviously - aren't as they seem.
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor is out this Fall.
