Watch Sableye Mega-Evolve in Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire release in November, and today you can watch 53 seconds of the new Mega-Evolved Sableye.

This is just one example of the Mega-Evolutions first introduced in Pokemon X & Y.

Sableye was first discovered in the Hoenn region, according to the lore, which is one of the locations included in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

It is a Dark-Ghost-type which concentrates all its energy from Mega Evolution into the jewel which adorns its chest. Once Sableye has Mega-Evolved, this jewel will swell and become detached from its body to use as a defensive tool in battle.

From behind the jewel, it can exploit the opponent’s weaknesses and take advantage of any openings. It is said that the jewel hardens into "such strength that no attack can even make a scratch."

The new adventure is a “fresh take on Pokemon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire,” and according to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, are full remakes of the 2002 version on Game Boy Advance.

Each promises to take players through a dramatic story within a spectacular new world, and a connection between Primal Reversion and Mega Evolution will be present.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in Australia, Japan and North America on November 21.

The game will release in Europe on November 28.
