World of Tanks 8.11 update introduces new Confrontation mode

World of Tanks developer Wargaming.net has added a new mode to the free strategy title called Confrontation. In fact, it's so new that it's not even been properly balanced yet.
PCGamesN reports that Confrontation mode is open to all tank tiers and weights, although Chinese and Japanese vehicles aren't permitted. It bands tanks from two nations into opposing teams to see which nation's tanks are better. As such, it's currently rife with imbalance.
Update 8.11 also a new European winter battle arena called Windstorm, a winter version of Himmelsdorf and Ruinberg, which now features rainfall and fire effects.
