Titanfall gameplay details leak out of alpha test, load-outs, mechs & more
Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment is running closed alpha tests now, and several new details have spilled out of the internet pipe.
The Titanfall Xbox One alpha test has begun, and both gamers and Respawn have been talking about it, with the former probably breaking their NDAs and what have you.
For starters, Eurogamer noticed that Respawn's Rayme Vinson confirmed that Titanfall's textures had been reduced to 25% of their full clarity in the alpha build, and were not representative of the final game:
Next, OXM has reported on chatter come out of the alpha that confirms players will tailor the load-outs of their Titan pilot and mech itself. Titan mechs can be outfitted with perks such as 'Regen Booster,' which recoups the mech's shield, an 'Auto-Eject' function, 'Survivor' - which sees your Titan take damage slower when 'doomed', and 'Nuclear Ejection,' which sees your mech explode when destroyed. It's similar to Martyrdom in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
