FIFA 14's Australian promo is certainly a thing

Australian gamers and press have been a little awestruck today by the release of a local promotional video for FIFA 14 which contains no gameplay, no discussion of the game's features, and nobody playing soccer.

What it has in spades is a lot of cheesy Australian sayings nobody ever uses, and local soccer hero Tim Cahill eyeing off a bunch of women doing aerobics. Nobody is sure why, or what this means, and whether it's a clever marketing ploy to go viral. On the chance it's that last option, I will restrain my urge to write a blistering editorial.

FIFA 14 is out now in North America on current-gen systems, and hits Europe on September 27. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are due in November.
