Pokemon X&Y gets seven new creatures, extra Mega Evolutions revealed
Pokemon X & Y just got seven new creature reveals in Japanese magazine CoroCoro, including a new Mega Evolution form for MewTwo. Check out the details here.
Reporting on the magazine, Serebii confirms that Mega MewTwo can transform into Mega Mewtwo X, which is also a Psychic/Fighting-type. It comes with the ability Steadfast. Garchomp also has a Mega form and once active it can use the ability Sand Force.
New Pokemon have been listed by their Japanese names, starting with the fossil-like Chigorasu, which is a Rock/Dragon type. it has a move called Hard Jaw that increases its attack power, while Rock/Ice type Amarasu has Freeze Skin, which turns normal moves into ice-based attacks.
Normal type Torimian is a dog that has a move called Fur Coat that reduces physical attacks. Its fur can be trimmed to change its appearance.
There's also a Psychic type cat called Nyaonikusu which - depending on its gender - boasts different move-sets, giving it either Keen Eye or Infiltrator, among others. The male for, is said to be more of a support role, while the female is the attacker.
The game's starting three Froakie, Fennekin and Chespin's first evolutions have also been revealed in the form of Gerogashira, Teerunaa and Hariboogu respectively. Gerogashira has the skill Jump, Teerunaa has Psycho Cut, while Hariboogu has Mud Shot.
