Fortnite's GDC crafting presentation caught on film

Fortnite developer Epic Games showcased the game's crafting and resource mechanics at GDC today, and someone in the crowd has filmed the whole thing.
The clip shows survivors building structures using wooden planks, editing said structures with pillars, balconies, windows, stairs and more. Creatures will come along at night to try and tear apart your fort.
It's up to you to build it strong enough to survive. You can add a sniper's nest on the roof for example, or be a bit smarter in your approach to structural integrity. It sounds very smart.
