Carmageddon iOS expected next week

Carmageddon may arrive on iDevice as early as next week, although Stainless doesn't seem keen to commit.
Speaking to Joystiq, a Stainless founders Patrick Buckland and Neil Barnden said the game is in certification with Apple and "should" hit the App Store next week.
The app will be free for the first 24 hours - a sweet deal secured by generous gamers - and just $2 after that.
An Android release is expected close to the new year.
As well as this mobile re-release of the classic original, Stainless is also working on an all-new Carmageddon game, Reincarnation, which it partially funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign.
