First content update for The Secret World is live

Funcom has launched the first content update for The Secret World, called Issue #1: Unleashed. It's the first of many updates - or Issues - that are part of the firm's monthly update plan.

Unleashed introduces several new investigation missions, the cross-dimensional marketplace, nightmare modes for dungeons The Ankh and Hell Fallen, and more.

The firm also updated information pertaining to the month anniversary event, in which players will receive in-game fireworks as well as the challenge to complete 30 in-game missions to help "those in need".

Players will also receive a special in-game t-shirt as well as 1200 bonus points that can be used in the in-game store. A special leaderboard showing the top 100 mission-solvers in the game will also be available throughout the festivities.

The game is free to play this weekend, as we've reminded you twice already.
