Valve voice actor predicts autumn release for DotA 2

Regular Valve voice actor John Patrick Lowrie has said DotA 2 will release in northern autumn.

Lowrie mentioned the release in an Impetuous Windmills podcast, as reported by AE Portal.

The voice actor said he's currently recording seven voices for the game - Pudge, Storm Spirit, Ice Spirit, Ultimate Devil guy, Martial Arts Mystic guy, and two more he couldn't remember.

As well as voicing Half-life's Odessa Cubbage and Team Fortress 2's Sniper, Lowrie is married to Ellen Mc Lain, the voice of Portal's GLaDOS and the TF2 announcer.

Valve has promised to show a strategy game at gamescom, with various rumours - as well as common sense - predicting it will indeed by DotA 2.

Thanks, Wyk.
