Mad Catz to be worldwide maker of Rock Band peripherals

Mad Catz has signed a deal with Harmonix to make peripherals for the Rock Band games across the globe.
"Serving as the principal Rock Band video game peripherals partner on a multi-territory basis leverages the powerful product development and global marketing and distribution capabilities Mad Catz has built,” said Mad Catz CEO Darren Richardson.
Richardson said that this allows Mad Catz to "take on an even more integral role with the Rock Band franchise."
Rock Band 3 will be in stores just in time for the holiday shopping season, and like previous iterations, will be made available for PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.
Before that though, Green Day: Rock Band will hit on June 8.
