Xbox Game Pass will get "at least" 5 new games every month
The Xbox Game Pass library of games will expand, as Microsoft previously promised, and we now know just how many new games we can expect every month.
Microsoft officially launched the Xbox Game Pass about two weeks ago, and although 100 games at launch is a decent number, many of the titles included weren't as big as some had hoped.
The plan has always been to add and remove games as the months go on, but it's now been confirmed that new games will enter the collection on the first of every month. At least five games, that is, according to Microsoft's Dennis Ceccarelli.
Ceccarelli, who manages the Game Pass team, confirmed this news to Major Nelson on one Microsoft's E3 livestreams (via NeoGAF), which you can see above (skip to 59:38). With that in mind, he also confirmed that the current collection won't lose any games until late November.
The majority of games will be staying, though he didn't say how long subscribers can expect a game to last on the service.
"In reality, the vast majority of our games are going to be in there much, much longer than [five months ending November], so you've got plenty of time to play through the great experiences that are in Game Pass, engage with DLC, just really enjoy that content - it's not leaving tomorrow."
The Xbox Game Pass is available now at $10/£8 a month.
