Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: here's some screens and a video of it running in 1080p, 60fps
Have a look at some over-the-shoulder Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gameplay footage, super colorful screenshots, and some information on how it runs in TV mode on Nintendo Switch.
The video above from Arekkz shows him giving the updated racer a go on Nintendo Switch - both in and out of the dock - during the London event yesterday.
Unfortunately, as he notes at the start, direct capture wasn't allowed for the title, thus the over-the-shoulder viewpoint.
As previously reported, this version of Mario Kart 8 features a revised battle mode on new and returning battle courses. Every track from the Wii U version along with the DLC is included as are previous characters. The Inklings from the Splatoon series are new with this release.
During Nintendo's Treehouse Live stream yesterday, you can play locally in 4-player multiplayer in 1080p at 30fps in TV Mode.
When docked in this manner, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will consistently run at 60fps and display at 1080p in single-player and up to two players. When Switch is in portable mode, it will still run 60fps, but will display at 720p in single-player.
