Jago is the first Killer Instinct character to get an Ultimate finisher
Ultimates are coming to Killer Instinct.
Killer Instinct developer Iron Galaxy hosted a livestream overnight to reveal a number of details about new character Kilgore, and show off Ultimate finishers for the first time.
As reported by Shoryuken, the developer discussed Kilgore's origin and backstory, confirming he was the precursor to Fulgore.
In terms of gameplay, Kilgore is actually the reverse of Fulgore, focusing on zoning. The number of bullets fired from his machine guns increases with every burst.
Kilgore is priced $10, and is available now for purchase. 50 percent of each sale goes into the Ultra Tour Community Fund, which organises Killer Instinct tournaments. The more people buy Kilgore, the more the winning bonuses of these tournaments will be expanded.
Finally, Iron Galaxy also revealed Ultimate finishers are coming to the game. Starting with Jago, whcih you see above, though it's unclear if others will get their own Ultimates.
