HD Remasters of Resident Evil 4-6 have shipped over 1.5 million units, says Capcom
Re-releases of the Resident Evil series this year have done well for Capcom.
According to the firm, HD remasters of Resident Evil 4-6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have collectively shipped more than 1.5 million units worldwide.
Remember: shipped means sold to retail or online stores - not bought by customers. Just wanted to clear that up.
Resident Evil 6 was re-released in March, Resident Evil 5 in June, and Resident Evil 4 in August 2016.
In North America, both retail and digital units passed 1 million total. The games are available as digital releases in Europe and reatil versions will arrive in December.
Capcom said Resident Evil is the firm's highest selling series with more than 69 million total units sold to date.
The next entry in the series, Resident Evil 7, arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One January 24.
The game can also be played with PSVR in its entirety.
