Have a look at Resident Evil 4 gameplay on PS4 and Xbox One
Two videos showing the current-gen re-releases of Resident Evil 4 have been posted by the official Biohazard YouTube channel.
The first video shows gameplay from the start of the game, where protagonist Leon Kennedy enters the rural village Spain. His mission is to save the president's daughter Ashley from cult members who've pledged allegiance to Los Illuminados and are infected with a mind-controlling parasite.
Below, you get a look at both Leon and Ashley after they have entered a castle, which is full of Illuminados. The video shows how Ashley aids Leon in solving a puzzle, but it doesn't show the gameplay segments in which the player controls Ashley directly.
The HD version of Resident Evil 4 displays at 1080p and runs in 60fps, and it contains all bonus content from the original game along with add-ons from the re-releases such as Ada Wong’s side story, New Game Plus, and Mercenaries Mode.
Resident Evil 4 will be released on PS4 and Xbox One August 30 and will run you $19.99/€19.99/£15.99. A physical disc version will also be available in the Americas.
Previous HD re-releases this year include Resident Evil 6 back in March and Resident Evil 5 earlier this summer.
The next game in the numbered series, Resident Evil 7, will be released in mid-January 2017.
