Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - 1080p on PS4, 900p on Xbox One with some drops below 30fps on both
Take an early look at how the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided stack up against one another.
We've seen the very promising critical response Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has gotten so far, but it's now time to dive a little bit into the technical side.
Digital Foundry has posted some preliminary analysis of the console versions of the game, revealing that PlayStation 4 runs at a native 1080p resolution, with Xbox One opting for sub-HD at 900p. Although an advantage, the site notes the game's temporal AA solution makes it look good on both platforms.
In the video below, we also get see the performance of the game on both platforms. Mankind Divided mostly maintains a 30 frames-per-second lock, with the help of adaptive v-sync.
Although far from a full report, the video also reveals that Mankind Divided does drop below 30 on both platforms, though Xbox One appears to have the worst of it. Load times are a bit long, too, with PlayStation 4 once again coming out on top.
