Consider these Syberia 3 screenshots a friendly reminder of its December release

During gamescom 2016 this week, Microids released a set of screenshots from its long-awaited Siberia 3.

Players will explore, solve puzzles and try to unravel mysteries in the series' first foray into 3D viduals.

In Siberia 3, Kate Walker is found dying on a riverbank by the nomadic Youkol. Joining the tribe which is in the process of migrating on snow ostriches, Kate and the group find themselves stranded in the Valsembor village.

They will need to find a way to continue the journey as they are chased by enemies and encounter unexpected obstacles. Along the way, Kate's past catches up with her.

First announced in 2009 before it was shelved and resurrected in 2012, the Anuman and Microids title features a score by Inon Zur and will will be released on December 1.

It will be made available on Mac, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
