Shovel Knight is getting a new campaign starring Specter Knight
Yacht Club Games has revealed a third Shovel Knight campaign, which will be free for owners of the game.
Specter Knight's moves and campaign are briefly outlined on Yacht Club's homepage. "You might remember him as a hovering apparitional adversary", the post reads, "but he now runs and jumps with the best of them. With his signature scythe in tow, he’s one of the larger playable characters too!"
Yacht Club also revealed that they're working on another campaign, King Knight, but they're not ready to show that one just yet outside of this one amazing GIF released on Twitter earlier this month:
They're also working on Body Swap mode and Battle Mode (a multiplayer mode that sadly won't be available for the handheld versions).
Yacht Club has also announced a physical Vita version, which is now available for preorder.
The GIF set below shows Specter Knight in action. No release date for this new campaign has been announced.
Shovel Knight is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, 3DS and Vita.
