It also gives a glimpse of her battle against the Heartless, which is featured in a new playable episode in Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage included in the HD compilation.
The brand-new storyline is said to provide players with a preview of the upcoming events of Kingdom Hearts 3.
The compilation also includes a remaster of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance along with Kingdom Hearts Chi: Back Cover. The latter is a new tale which "sheds light on mysterious foretellers" through cinematics.
Finally, at the end of the trailer, Square notes it will provide more information on Kingdom Hearts 3 this winter. Depending on how far into winter, this could mean the 2016 Sony PlayStation Experience which we expect around the beginning of December.
The last look we had at the games was during the 2015 event.
Those attending E3 2016 next week will be be able to get their hands on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 at the Square Enix booth.
