Nintendo 2DS price cut announced for North America
Next Friday, May 20, the price of Nintendo 2DS will be reduced from $99.99 to $79.99, or $20 less if you prefer.
This is the second price cut for the system. In August last year, the price for 2DS was dropped from $129.99 to $99.99.
Some systems come pre-installed with Mario Kart 7 racing game, which could make the new price more appealing to parents. The firm is also releasing two new "kid-friendly games" later this year Style Savvy: Fashion Forward and Disney Magical World 2.
Nintendo launched its 2DS system October 2013 and was made with smaller hands in mind. It supports all 3DS games, and almost all Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi games in 2D.
