Large Dota 2 update adds changes to Ranked All Pick, minimap Scan ability
A rather massive update has arrived for Dota 2. So large in fact, you'd be reading this post forever if we included everything in it.
Large Dota 2 update adds changes to Ranked All Pick, minimap Scan ability
Gameplay update 6.87 gameplay contains changes to Ranked All Pick, adds a minimap Scan ability, new items, and plenty of balance adjustments.
Changes to Ranked All Pick allows players 15 seconds to vote before the hero ban goes into effect. Each player will vote for a different hero, after which half of the heroes voted on will be "randomly selected and banned."
There have also been changes made to starting HP, hero base mana increased from 0 to 50, and HP per strength has been increased.
The update was posted yesterday, so you still have plenty of time to try out the changes through the test client before it drops in a day or two.
As we stated in the start of this post, the patch notes are rather long, so set some time aside before you head over to the Dota 2 blog and give them a read.
Along with the update, The Manila Major Qualifiers will kick off this week with the Chinese Open Qualifiers hosted by ESL and the Americas, Southeast Asia and Europe Open Qualifiers hosted by Faceit April 29 – May 2.
The Regional Qualifiers will follow May 3-6.
