The game's executive producer, Owen O'Brien, announced the news this morning during CCP's annual EVE Fanfest event. So, that's good news for those who have friends with a Vive or Rift for PC who want to play the game with their PS VR buddies.
Other gameplay details were also shared on the game's Carrier Assault mode which tasks players with chipping away at the shields of a Carrier Ship. It also sports turrets which need to be taken out before the ship interior can be stormed in order to destroy the critical core.
The mode is featured in the video below.
EVE: Valkyrie launched along Oculus Rift in March as an Early Access title, and at one time was pegged as a Rift-exclusive. Later, it was announced for as a launch title for PlayStation VR and eventually Vive earlier this month.
