This may be the release date for Destiny's next expansion

With the recent release of Destiny's April update, Bungie added new content to the game. In one of the new Prison of Elders arenas, there's a dead Ghost you could find.

A guide to the exact location of the dead Ghost was posted on Reddit only 16 minutes after the update went live, as reported by Eurogamer, a feat only someone with early access to the expansion could pull off.

These usually unlock Grimoire entries, but this one in particular is pretty interesting. The Reddit post, since been removed, was written by a new user named Rezyl Azzir. As you might have guessed, the Grimoire entry is about an in-game character of the same name.

The card - which you can read here - tells the story of the days before the last city on Earth was established.

But before Rezyl Azzir deleted his account and disappeared, he left this message in Latin. It reads, "Vegisima die mensis noni. ILLUD est venturus. Per Audacia ad astra."

Reddit users have translated it to, "The twentieth day of the ninth month. IT is coming. Forward, to the stars," which many believe to be the release date of the game's upcoming expansion, seeing as The Taken King also came out in September.

Earlier this year, Activision confirmed that a "large" Destiny expansion is due for release later this year.
