Rocket League, The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, others up for BAFTA Best Game Award

Nominees for the 2016 British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) has been announced.

Best game nominations are The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Life is Strange
and Rocket League.

Including the Best game category, Rapture developer The Chinese Room is up for nine awards total, ten if you count the two performer nominees included in the same category. But we'll stick with nine.

The Witcher 3 and Her Story are both up for seven awards, and fiver nominees each have been handed to Life is Strange, Rocket League and Arkham Knight. Mark Hamill is up for a performance of year award for his role of Joker in the latter.

The BAFTA Awards will be hosted by Dara O'Briain and the ceremony take place on April 7 in London.
