Bloodborne's latest patch makes upgrading weapons easier

The elusive Blood Rocks can now be purchased in Bloodborne, if you're swimming in Insight.

Bloodborne has received a new patch to make upgrading weapons to +10 a lot easier.

In the vanilla game, there's a limited number of Blood Rocks available, the item you need to fully upgrade weapons. This meant that although you may like using different weapons, you had to make a choice of which of them to max out. The Old Hunters expansion, itself added a lot of new weapons, compounding this issue even further.

Thankfully, with today's 1.9 patch, Blood Rocks are available to purchase from the Insight shop, for the exorbitant price of 60 Insight. You need to reach a certain unspecified point in the game before it becomes available, however. In addition, the price of Blood Stone Chunks was reduced from 30 to 20 Insight.

While the Insight cost for Blood Rocks is indeed high, you can gain Insight in a lot of different ways, and it's not a finite resource.

The patch also changed stamina and strength requirements for some weapons.
