Black Ops 3 beats out Fallout 4 for most anticipated multi-platform game this holiday

Vault Boy is right to be outraged after being pipped to the post by Black Ops 3 in the Nielsen Game Rank charts for this holiday season.

The Nielsen insight group, better known for their TV ratings and viewership service, made their predictions for which games will be topping the charts this holiday using "overall anticipation levels".

The data was collected by surveying over 4,800 gamers between August 24 and September 9 with ages ranging from 7 to 54.

Black Ops 3 is topping the multi-platform charts, just ahead of Fallout 4 and Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

The Xbox One crowd are pretty psyched for Halo 5: Guardians, which has a 100% anticipation level, while the PS4 players are mustering up some enthusiasm for the Nathan Drake Collection with a 79% anticipation level.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is leading on the PS Vita, and Dragon BallZ: Extreme Butoden rounds out the handhelds on 3DS.

It's worth noting that only the titles that scored 70% or over were included in the chart.
