Battlefield 4: Night Operation rolls out September 1

Good news for Battlefield fans: the new, free 'Night Operations' update is rolling out very soon.

The impending release was confirmed on the Battlefield 4 forums. This update comes with a new map, Zavod: Graveyard Shift, which will support all of Battlefield 4's existing modes. This map is a bit of a remix of Zavod 311, specifically tailored for night-time fighting. This is something Battlefield fans have been asking for, so it's nice to see it coming as a free update.

DICE is also finally releasing the Summer Patch on September 1, which brings with it a host of improvements and tweaks.

If you're in Europe and playing on a PlayStation 3 or 4, you'll have to wait an extra week: the Night Operations update won't appear until September 8.
