I don't really know what to say about this Gears of War: Ultimate Edition trailer.
Either Gears of War fans really like Cole, or Microsoft has made an embarrassing marketing mistake with this trailer. I don't know if there's any level of affection for a character that would make me forgive corporate attempts to leverage youth culture, but it takes all sorts, innit. Perhaps this fires your loins with the burning passion of fandom.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is out now on Xbox One in North America and hits Europe on August 28. The PC version had not been dated.
