Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be released on PC four weeks after consoles
Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be released a few weeks after the console version in order to ensure a smooth launch, and a targeted 1080p and 30fps.
The PC version is in development at Ubisoft Kiev, and studio production manager Sam Kovalev said the extra time will enable the team to deliver a "stable, optimized version of the game on day one."
“We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project,” said Kovalev. “This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year.
“The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one."
PC requirements are still being finalized, and there won't be framerate and resolution locks. The recommended system requirements will target 1080p and 30fps.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on October 23, and PC on November 19.
