Batman: Arkham Knight has biggest UK first week sales of 2015
Batman: Arkham Knight has become the biggest selling game in the UK at launch so far this year.
According to number-crunchers Chart Track, it "comfortably" outsold The Witcher 3 in its first week.
The game launched on Tuesday last week rather than the usual Friday release, but not without incident. The PC version of the game is all but unplayable, with WB withdrawing it for sale until bugs are fixed.
Despite the problems, Arkham Knight becomes Warner's fourth number one this year, following Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X and Lego Jurassic World. It's also the week one best seller for the Arkham franchise to date.
The other two new entries in the top ten are Yoshi's Woolly World at four and Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward at ten.
