Batman: Arkham Knight requires a day one patch, and it's not a small one.

Batman: Arkham Knight's release date changes have not prevented it from requiring a day one patch, it seems. The patch is a little bit on the large side, clocking in at 3.5GB.

The information comes from a Reddit post referencing the PlayStation 4 version. The patch notes are listed below, courtesy of PlayStation Lifestyle.

  • Improved Performance
  • Stability Fixes
  • New feature: Rival Points
  • New feature: Original Batsuit skin available to select
  • Support for “A Matter Of Family” additional content
  • General gameplay, graphical, audio, UI, and localization fixes

There's currently no news about a similar patch for Xbox One, though it's very likely one is coming.

Batman: Arkham Knight releases tomorrow, June 23 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
