Torchlight heading to iOS and Android

Perfect World has announced an all-new entry in the Torchlight series, tailored to mobile devices.

Runic Games and Perfect World are teaming up for Torchlight Mobile, putting the series' classic looting-and-levelling schtick in your pocket for the first time.

Since Torchlight's 2009 debut on PC, the franchise has expanded to offer Mac, Linux, and Xbox 360 releases, so it's no surprise that its sights are now set on conquering the mobile market.

There's no word on an official release date yet, but we can expect it to hit later this year.
