Limbo team's Inside release date pushed back

The anticipated follow-up to Playdead's smash-hit debut is further off than anticipated.

The second game from Limbo developer Playdead, Inside was announced one year ago but has been in the works since 2010.

It was expected to release in the first half of 2015 which, for those of you a bit uncomfortable with calendars, would mean it had to turn up before the end of this month. It won't make it.

"After five years in development, we, more than anyone, are looking forward to the release," Playdead said in a statement published by Polygon.

"We are so close, but getting it right has taken a little more time than we anticipated."

Last time we heard anything about the project it was expected to launch first on Xbox One, likely coming to other platforms later, as Limbo did.
