Two new PS4 models outed by FCC certifications
Sony is working on two new PlayStation 4 models, one of which comes with a 1TB hard drive.
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) published certification documents for two new PlayStation 4 consumer models. Picked up by DualShockers, the certification documents show hard drive capacity and slight electrical-related changes.
The models are CUH-1215A and CUH-1215B. The latter comes with a 1TB drive, a first for the console. Sony has not announced any new SKUs with such capacity, but E3 is coming up and would make a perfect opportunity for such announcement.
The new units' power supply is rated at 230 W and 2.3-0.95 A. Both lower than the current models at 250 W and 2.5-1.15 A.
