The Silver Edition of the Super Mario Amiibo will be available in stores across North America on May 29, which is good news for Amiibo collectors i.e. everyone.
The Gold Edition Super Mario Amiibo was a Walmart exclusive, and in a surprise to no one, started popping up on various auction sites for five times its original retail value.
Nintendo Life has confirmed the release date of the Silver Edition but hasn't indicated that the Amiibo will be exclusive to any particular retail chain.
Silver Mario will do the same job as his regular and gold counterparts - he just looks a bit more sophisticated.
You can pick him up for $12.99. No word yet on whether we'll see him in stores in other regions.
