Banjo-Kazooie successor gets new character that is a snake, wearing trousers
Yooka-Laylee, the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, has received another development update revealing its newest character.
Yooka-Laylee developers at Playtonic posted a new Kickstarter update today announcing a new character.
The supporting character is a pants-wearing snake named Trowzer.
"Trowzer thinks of himself as the best salesman ever, but with his downbeat appearance and 1980’s mobile phone, life never took off for him," creative lead Gavin Price explains.
"He’ll take your money and count it (he’s an Adder…) and because he knows best he’ll even demonstrate the moves you just bought for you to replicate… if you can follow his jiggling."
Yooka-Laylee's campaign has been tracking on very well. The game was funded only hours after the campaign went live. At present, the game has brought in £1,529,553 with 35 days to go.
