22 Cans' Godus co-creator leaves to work on Indie project
Jack Attridge left 22 Cans last week for greener pastures, but has made it clear his departure has nothing to do with the rocky few months the studio faced after experiencing some problems with Godus.
Speaking to The Guardian , Attridge said : “It was January that I said to Peter I was looking to leave 22Cans and go off to start my own thing... I was really worried that it might be perceived that I was leaving the studio because of that. It really is a shame because that felt like such a terrible time for us to part ways.”
Peter and Jack enjoyed a 10-mile stroll together on his last day, and Molyneux even signed a waiver so that Jack could start his company almost immediately.
After showing a tech demo to The Guardian for his new project, Jack said: "I vowed that I’m not going to say anything about this new game until we can show it... While it’s really hard to contain ourselves, we made that our philosophy: let’s not say a word until things are finalised.”
Now where did he get a crazy idea like that from?
