Clock Tower spiritual successor NightCry has landed on Kickstarter
The Kickstarter for Clock Tower spiritual successor, Project Scissors, recently announced as NightCry, has launched.
A teaser directed by The Grudge director Takashi Shimizu was released for the game earlier this month, and the full short film can be viewed below.
Shimizu is also creative director on the project and Silent Hill creative and environment designer Masahiro Ito is also working on the game.
NightCry is being directed by Hifumi Kouno, who headed up the first two Clock Tower games. Slated for Android, iOS, PC and PS Vita the horror game takes place on board a cruise ship adrift at sea where murders, both mysterious and rather gruesome, are taking place.
The player must figure out who is committing the murders while trying to protect themselves and the other passengers.
NightCry has 29 days left to reach its $300,000 funding goal, and so far 248 backers have pledged $9,282.
More information on the game is available through the Kickstarter page.
